Converter
A converter is a device that is used to convert one type of signal into another. Converters are commonly used in electronics to convert digital signals into analog signals or vice versa. For example, a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) is used to convert digital signals from a computer or other digital device into analog signals that can be played through a speaker or other analog device. Similarly, an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is used to convert analog signals from a microphone or other analog device into digital signals that can be processed by a computer or other digital device.
